Public ATS URL and Private ATS URL
First, let's clarify what we mean by ATS and URL:
An applicant tracking system (ATS) helps companies organize and track candidates for hiring and recruitment purposes. Applicant tracking systems are also referred to as: ‘hiring software,’ ‘talent acquisition software,’ ‘hiring platform,’ and ‘recruitment software.’
URL, short for uniform resource locator is a web address pointing to a specific website, a web page, or a document on the internet.
When you create a job in your ATS, most ATS will allow you to make the role public or private. A private job might be helpful when looking for candidates internally or confidentially. If you are looking for candidates outside your company, you must ensure that your job is published publicly. You can then use the public ATS address, or URL, to post the role on paid and free job boards, like Remotive.
