3a. Information You Provide
When you create an account, subscribe, or contact us, we may collect:

- Payment information processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
- Job search preferences, saved searches, and job alerts configuration.
- Communications you send us, including support requests and feedback.

In the United States, our marketing emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, including accurate sender information, a clear unsubscribe mechanism, and processing of opt-out requests within 10 business days.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising with third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
**Service providers (sub-processors). **We work with third-party service providers who process data on our behalf. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only for the purposes we specify and to implement appropriate security measures. Our current sub-processors are listed in Section 6.
**Legal requirements. **We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Remotive, our users, or others.
**Business transfers. **If Remotive is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.

At the end of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized. Aggregated and anonymized data that can no longer identify you may be retained indefinitely for statistical purposes.

10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure server infrastructure managed by DigitalOcean, access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel, and regular security reviews.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
